How to find Congleton High School
Congleton High School is situated on the West side of Congleton, between the A54 Holmes Chapel Road and the A534 Sandbach Road.
From the North
M6 – leave the M6 at junction 18 for Holmes Chapel. Take the first exit off roundabout at the top of the slip road, heading for Holmes Chapel on the A54. After 0.7 mile, turn right onto Chester Road (still on A54). Continue to the traffic lights, go straight across and follow road for 3.8 miles to the outskirts of Congleton. Turn right onto Box Lane, the school is approx 150yds from the junction on the right hand side.
A34 – approach Congleton from the North on the A34. On the outskirts of Congleton, bear left at ambulance station for 50yds and then bear right. Continue on A34 to the traffic lights, go straight across and down the hill to the roundabout (Tesco store on RHS). Take the second exit off the roundabout and continue up the hill to a second roundabout. Take the third exit off this roundabout, signed A34 Newcastle. Continue for 0.3 mile. Pass the Wagon & Horses public house on the right and take the right turn immediately after the pub onto the A534 Sandbach Road . Continue along Sandbach Road for 0.7 mile to the traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and the school is immediately on the left.
From the South
M6 – leave M6 at junction 17 for Sandbach. Turn right onto the A534 for Congleton. Continue to the traffic lights at the junction with the A50 (Arclid). Go straight across at the traffic lights and continue for 3.5 miles to the traffic lights on the outskirts of Congleton. Turn left at the lights and the school is immediately on the left.
A34 – approach Congleton from the South on the A34. As you approach Congleton, you will pass Astbury Garden Centre on the left hand side and then reach the village of Astbury . Continue through the village and pass a petrol filling station on the left hand side. Turn left immediately after the filling station onto Padgbury Lane and continue to the traffic lights. Go straight across at the lights and the school is on the left.
